Crimp Tools
Electroservices are able to offer calibration on a range of hand held and hydraulic crimp tools, currently up to 50kN.
Calibrations and repairs are carried out to BS EN ISO 10012 : 2003 (Formerly BS5781) in accordance with our BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 registration, using calibrated test equipment, which is fully traceable to national standards.
Crimp Tools are calibrated per head/set (set comprises of three crimp samples) tested as per BS 5G 178 Part 1 1993 - Gauge, Voltage Drop Test and Tensile Strength, and Defence Standard 59-71 (Part 1).

Torque
Electroservices have the facility to calibrate and repair all makes and models of torque wrench within the range of 1Ncm to 1000Nm. Using a motorised version of the Norbar ISO 1000 Torque Loader system with the Norbar ETS display and a wide range of transducers, torque wrenches can be calibrated or tested in accordance with ISO6789: 2003, BS EN 26789:2003 and American military standard GGG-W-686. The ISO 1000 rig takes full advantage of the accuracy of the ETS torque measuring system by reducing operator-induced variations in the calibration process. The ISO 1000 90-degree facility allow the performance of torque wrenches to be checked in two planes.
We also have the capability to calibrate torque multipliers up to a range of 5000Nm.
Various torque analyser systems can also be calibrated using balance beams and accurate weights to generate known levels of torque. For further details visit our capabilities section.
